Simulation & Team Training for Obstetric & Neonatal Emergencies

This class focuses on unexpected obstetric emergencies and will allow the participants to actively engage in “hands-on” skills within the OB & Neonatal departments. Attendees will participate in two high fidelity in-situ emergency simulations as a multidisciplinary team. Patient safety, escalation of care, role definition, and communication techniques aimed to improve team response will be discussed. Both simulations will be video recorded and include interactive debriefing sessions.
