Simulation & Team Training for Obstetric & Neonatal Emergencies

This class focuses on unexpected obstetric emergencies and will allow the participants to actively engage in “hands-on” skills within the OB & Neonatal departments. Attendees will participate in two high fidelity in-situ emergency simulations as a multidisciplinary team. Patient safety, escalation of care, role definition, and communication techniques aimed to improve team response will be discussed.
