Class Information
We are offering a hybrid class and by the end of this class, participants will be able to:
- Summarize current evidence-based recommendations for inpatient nursing management of pregnant patients with diabetes, including glucose monitoring, insulin management, and fetal surveillance.
- Recognize early warning signs of placental disorders requiring urgent intervention and describe appropriate nursing actions through case studies.
- Apply current AWHONN and/or ACOG recommendations to prioritize nursing interventions and patient education for pregnant patients with diabetes or placental disorders during the antepartum, intrapartum, and immediate postpartum periods.
For virtual learners, the zoom information will be provided 24 hours prior to the class.
Fees
Registration Cancellation & Refund Policy
Registrant Cancellation and Non-Attendance
- Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email at [email protected] 24-48 hours before the course start date.
- Registrants who do not attend the course and do not provide advance notice of cancellation ("no-shows") are not eligible for a refund.
- Refund eligibility is based on the date the cancellation request is received.
Course Cancellation by the Provider
- If the provider cancels a course due to low enrollment, instructor availability, or unforeseen circumstances, registered participants will be notified by email as soon as possible.
- Registrants may choose to transfer their registration to a future course (if available) or receive a full refund.
Refund Timeline
- Eligible full refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days of the approved cancellation request or provider cancellation.
- Refunds will be issued using the original method of payment whenever possible.
Please note: Registration fees are non-transferable to another individual unless approved by the provider.
