Class Information
The S.T.A.B.L.E. Program is designed for all healthcare personnel who provide care for well or sick newborns. S.T.A.B.L.E. is the mnemonic for Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood pressure, Lab work, and Emotional support. This is an educational program for all providers to organize care from pre-transport through the post-resuscitation stabilization period. Participants will receive STABLE cards good for 2 years.
The 7th edition STABLE Program requires all learners to bring a physical or digital copy of the STABLE 7th edition book ($65) & complete the Foundations of STABLE Online Program ($54) prior to arriving.
What to Do Before the Course:
-
Get the S.T.A.B.L.E. Learner Manual - $65
You’ll need the S.T.A.B.L.E. Learner Manual during the course. You can grab a copy on Amazon or through the S.T.A.B.L.E. Program website. Make sure you have the most recent 7th edition, as it’s packed with everything we’ll cover. -
Complete the Foundations of STABLE Online Program - $54
This is a new STABLE requirement! Two days before the class, please complete the Foundations of S.T.A.B.L.E. online program on July 12, 2026.
It’s a great introduction to the key concepts we’ll be diving into during the course. You can find instructions to purchase and access the program on the S.T.A.B.L.E. Program website, or go directly to NurseGrid Learn or CME.HealthStream.com to purchase. FYI - The Foundations course takes about 3-4 hours to complete, so make sure you give yourself time! Don’t forget to bring your completion certificate with you to class!
We will not be able to provide STABLE Certification Education Units unless the Foundations of STABLE Online Program is completed by July 12, 2026 (2 days prior to the class).
