Objectives for this course include: 

• Identify anatomy of partial and full thickness burns
• Describe nuances of the initial trauma management of the burn injured patient including pediatric airway management and starting IV fluids
• Review of the secondary survey, including IV fluid resuscitation, IV fluid titration, and non-accidental trauma
• Recognize criteria to refer to a burn center
• Understand basic wound management
• Discuss factors in rehabilitation through a burn injury
