Upon completion of this program the participant will be able to:
- Raise awareness of the complexities of labor induction and augmentation
- Cite the evidence from induction of labor publications
- Describe key factors that contribute to the rising rate of induction of labor
- To apply what is known about induction of labor to optimize vaginal birth
Perinatal Core Measures: What are they and why do they matter?
Upon completion of this program the participant will be able to:
- Cite the five perinatal core measures endorsed by The Joint Commission
- Identify perinatal outcome measures that are nursing sensitive
- Review evidence based nursing interventions that enhance quality and provide safety for hospitalized women and infants
