Class Information
This FULL day program is excellent for all departments that care for infants!
S.T.A.B.L.E. is a comprehensive program to learn how Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood pressure, Labs, & Emotional support help stabilize neonates. While S.T.A.B.L.E guidelines require all students to have the most current S.T.A.B.L.E. Learner Manual, it will not be required for this class. Learners who work at Mad River can borrow books from Heidi Van Buskirk in Staff Development.
We will be teaching from the 6th edition for this class, but learners may purchase the 7th edition learner manual if they would like. The S.T.A.B.L.E learner manual that may be purchased from S.T.A.B.L.E website https://stableprogram.org/product/the-s-t-a-b-l-e-program-learner-manual-7th-edition/ OR Amazon https://www.amazon.com/B-L-Program-Learner-Manual-Post-resuscitation-dp-1937967204/dp/1937967204/ref=dp_ob_title_bk .
All students are required to complete the pre-assessment test (that is emailed to all registrants) prior to class and bring a copy of the completed answer sheet and pre-assessment test to class.
Participants will receive S.T.A.B.L.E. cards and current S.T.A.B.L.E. Program cardholders will have their S.T.A.B.L.E. cards renewed.
