Class Information
This course will cover the recognition of the pediatric patient in need of transportation, as well as optimal techniques for the stabilization of this patient, the goal being a multidisciplinary plan to ensure the best outcomes.
Objectives:
- Understand the steps necessary in the stabilization of the pediatric patient
- Describe the personnel, special equipment, and support needed to prepare for the transport
- Collaborate, communicate effectively, execute care, and manage time and resources to contribute to best outcomes during transport handoff
