Class Information

Participants will: 

  • Describe the three-step process to diagnose obstetric sepsis 
  • List common lab values in pregnancy that contribute to delays in care
  • Review the CMQCC OB sepsis toolkit 
  • Define early-onset and late-onset neonatal sepsis
  • Identify risk factors and probability of neonatal sepsis 
  • Discuss the management of the neonate with sepsis
