Class Information

This class is intended only for St. Jospeh's Stockton Medical Center Staff employees. 

ALL disciplines are encouraged to join! Simulation is a safe (and fun!) way to build confidence and competence inNICU airway management through hands-on simulation. Practice essential skills, strengthen nurse–RT communication, and apply strategies to reduceunplanned extubations in a safe, supportive learning environment. Please be sure to wear scrubs!

Participants wil: 

  • Practice safe management neonatal airways during routine and high-risk simulation scenarios 
  • Apply strategies to reduce unplanned extubations
  • Communicate effectively during airway-related care
  • ​Discuss common ventilator management issues and alarm troubleshooting
