- Discuss potential challenges and complications of labor induction for high-risk patients
- Apply what is known about induction of labor to promote safety and optimize outcomes for women and newborns
- Identify the characteristics of the LPI that predispose them to higher morbidity and mortality
- Describe the unique ways LPI are physiologically and metabolically immature
