Class Information
This class will focus on Neurologic, Developmental and Cardiac topics. At the conclusion of this class attendees will be able to:
- Describe two evidence-based practices that your perinatal/neonatal areas can provide to women in preterm labor and/or ELBW infants
- Define the significance of golden hour
- Understand the unique physiologic needs of the ELBW infant, and measures to promote optimal outcomes
- List three neuroprotective practices that you or your unit can implement to improve care of the ELBW
